03 / ON STAGE

Many traditions.
One theatrical language.

A Thai legend. A collective voice. A theatrical world of music, movement and shadow—open to international presentation and collaboration.

01

The chorus is the drama

The chorus becomes a community, a landscape and the inner life of the characters. Voices move between individual emotion and collective experience, making choral singing an active force in the story.

02

A meeting of musical worlds

Kaiwan’s composition and orchestration bring Western ensemble writing into dialogue with Thai winds, ranat ek and drums. Thai music is a living part of the dramatic language, developed with Capt. Somnuek Saengarun, Silpathorn Artist (Music, 2024).

03

Movement, light and shadow

Ensemble movement and Thai performance gestures carry the audience between human and celestial worlds. Shadow puppetry, lighting and laser Nang Yai extend the scale and imagination of the stage.

04

Live performance and Theatre on Screen

Discuss a live presentation, a festival collaboration or a screening with the creative team. The 2026 Rangsit production and the London Theatre on Screen presentation offer two distinct ways to encounter the work. Casting, ensemble and presentation requirements are discussed for each engagement.
